Longest Line Of People Walking With The National Flag

Marsiling Secondary School observed National Day on 8 Aug 2025 together with its 25th anniversary. It started with a parade by its uniformed groups. Later students, staff and guests formed lines to hold our national flags which were stringed together. 637 people walked about a km around the school compound in a single file with the flags.

James Cook University commemorated National Day by inviting Kolam Ayer senior citizens to its campus to make angkukuehs on 7 Aug 2025. After making the glutinous rice kuehs in reds and whites with the students, they were arranged to form the 1.9m wide Singapore map overlaid with the flag.

In celebration of SG60, Marymount Grassroots Organisations arranged for 60 LED lion dances to perform at Bishan Active Park on 26 Jul 2025. The event was co-organised with International Long-Shi Trading Hub and Dragon Lion Dance Singapore Sports Federation which coordinated the lions from 15 dance troupes.

For the fourth consecutive year, Yuvabharathi International School celebrated National Day with a record on 4 Aug 2025. It presented the Singapore flag made of paper quilling, measuring 1.5m by 2.0m. Senior citizens from NTUC Health were also invited and were taught how to do quilling craftwork.

Bukit Panjang Government High School created a Singapore map using 65,000 paper cranes and which measured 3.4m by 5.1m. The map also incorporated the SG flag.
