Largest Relay Run With Sandbags

To mark its 59th anniversary, the 2nd People’s Defence Force had its staff to run multiple laps of 50m with 15-kg sandbags. The ladies could opt to use the 10-kg sandbags. In less than 13 min, a total consolidated distance of 59 km was completed by the 245 personnel on 3 May 2024 at Clementi Camp.

ActiveSG celebrated its 10th anniversary with 10-hr dance workouts at its 5 ActiveSG Sport Centres. From 8am to 6pm on 27 Apr 2024, the public participated in each or multiple sessions of the hour-long workouts which included street dance, hip-hop, zumba and piloxing. The concurrent workouts were held at Canberra, Choa Chu Kang, Delta and Sengkang Sports Centres, and Heartbeat@Bedok.

Largest Singapore Map Made Of Shoes

Hewlett Packard demonstrated its prototype SitePrint at a staff event on 25 Apr 2024. The autonomous printer reads 2D blueprints and prints them directly onto the floor of a construction site. At the event it printed the outline of the Singapore map. Thereafter, the staff placed the used shoes they had collected for recycling, to fill up the 10m-by-5.6m map.
