ITE College Central held a ‘manga-lah SG60’ comic drawing competition and 164 students took part. The winning designs were printed on banners and hung on 5 floors of the college building. On 26 Jul 2025, Villa Verde Estate residents celebrated its 25th anniversary as well as SG60, by entering SBOR for the longest line of roses made with pandan leaves. The plant is common within and outside the terrace houses and the residents managed to turn the leaves into rose shapes and displayed the 61.2m line along Verde Bridge.

Shaabaz Kitchen organises Singapore’s Only Biryani Festival. On 26 July 2025, at Singapore Expo, the catering company arranged for 60 people to eat the largest amount of biryani to celebrate SG60. After half an hour, 52 kg of the dish sponsored by stallholders at the festival, was depleted. The festival featured Singapore’s widest variety of biryani sold at a single place.
