After a $50 million renovation, City Square Mall introduced a revamped retail mix, upgraded communal spaces and expanded dining options. On 10 Mar 2026, it marked the revamp with two record entries: the Largest Display of Sequin Art and the Largest Art Display of Recycled Milk Bottles. Using the ‘blooming’ theme, the first record was a 13-by-3.8m interactive flower display made by touching the bicolour sequin fabric on the wall. The second 7.9-by-2.4m record was created using 400 recycled Meiji bottles and caps donated by shoppers.
