Largest Artwork Made Of Fabric Strips

To commemorate its 40th anniversary, River Valley Primary School created an artwork by weaving fabric strips cut from unwanted clothes. Over 2 sessions, as participants stretched the strings over the nails, they were mindful of the importance of environmental sustainability. The wooden base was recycled from transportation pallets. On 15 Aug 2025, the 4.8m-by-0.6m display was installed and adjudicated.

Largest Gathering Of Corgis & Golden Retrievers

At the Good Pet Fair held at the National Stadium Promenade on 9 Aug 2025, 2 doggy records were achieved. It set the new record for the largest gathering of Corgis with 170 such pets. Longest Line Of People Walking With The National Flag

Marsiling Secondary School observed National Day on 8 Aug 2025 together with its 25th anniversary. It started with a parade by its uniformed groups. Later students, staff and guests formed lines to hold our national flags which were stringed together. 637 people walked about a km around the school compound in a single file with the flags.

James Cook University commemorated National Day by inviting Kolam Ayer senior citizens to its campus to make angkukuehs on 7 Aug 2025. After making the glutinous rice kuehs in reds and whites with the students, they were arranged to form the 1.9m wide Singapore map overlaid with the flag.
