Global Indian International School (GIIS) Balestier Campus celebrated Singapore’s 48th birthday on 7 Aug 2013 when a wall collage ‘Recycled Creation: Art meets French language’ was unveiled. The Bazar Raya Utara organised by the Sembawang GRC celebrated both Hari Raya Puasa and National Day by making a Singapore flag using ketupats. On 3 August 2013, Wendy Chua of Wand Inspiration came to Anglican High School to speak to teachers and parents on the ways to communicate love with teenagers.
