Largest Festival Of Traditional Games
Keat Hong CC IAEC celebrated Pongal by providing residents with an astonishing 106 games at The Arena @ Keat Hong. The majority were board games and just using the mancala board, there were more than 10 different games. There were also outdoor games like tug-of-war, marbles and hitting the pongal pot. Heartbeat@Bedok broke its own record with 731 people dancing to music through the provided wireless headphones at close to midnight on 31 Dec 2023. Through the headphones, the music sounded better and dancers were responding more passionately. A smaller event was organised for the kids in the afternoon. Largest Display Of Balloon Christmas Trees
Chua Chu Kang CC entertained its residents with a Christmas Balloon Wonderland on 23 Dec 2023 to the next day at the CC outdoor courtyard. 24 Christmas trees of about 2m tall were displayed, along with Christmas symbols like Santa Claus, gingerbread house, snowman, candy canes and a mistletoe wreath – all skillfully made by the CCK balloon interest group. Largest Gathering Of Christmas Elves
Boon Lay CC celebrated Christmas with a carnival on 23 Dec 2023, with games, bouncing castles and snacks. The most striking feature of the day was that each registered child was given a set of elf’s costume. 93 of them gathered on the stage to be counted. Read More »
