Most Number of Poles Broken On The Neck
‘Iron Throat’ Loo Kok Seng broke his own record with 34 inch-thick wooden poles broken after they were swung onto his neck by his accomplice. Residents who turned up at Telok Kurau Park to mark Joo Chiat Constituency’s Mid Autumn Festival on 17 Sep 2016 got to enjoy free lanterns, mooncakes, pomeloes and activities related to the festival. Largest Display Of Lanterns Made From Recycled Magazines
Kembangan-Chai Chee FLC and Greenville RC held a joint mid-autumn celebration on 11 Sep 2016 at Ubi Ave 1. Facing the main road to welcome the residents in the neighbourhood was a colourful display of 560 lanterns made by volunteers.
