Volunteers from 6 schools and 7 art interest groups helped to paint a 9.5m by 12m naive art painting, organised by Zhenghua PassionArts. Naive art is characterised by a childlike simplicity, non-scientific perspective, and bold colours. Throughout the Mid Autumn Festival held at the Singapore Expo on 18-20 Sep 2015, visitors could participate in painting lanterns under the guidance of batik artist Ika Zahri. Largest Display Of Handprints Inscribed On Clay
Since late last year, Queenstown Commonwealth Ave Zone RC members have been getting residents to emboss their palmprints on clay tablets for its ‘Thousand Wishes for Singapore’, marking our country’s mid-century journey.
