More than 600,000 Lego sets were given to students and teachers in commemoration of Singapore’s Golden Jubilee. Each set features models of Cavenagh Bridge, Changi Airport and Gardens by the Bay. Most Number Of Origami Butterflies Folded In 30 Min
For its SG50 National Day celebration, Global Indian International School wanted to set up the Jubilee logo with origami butterflies. Students of classes 1-6 gathered in the school auditorium on 4 Aug 2015 and in 30 minutes, they folded 7,772 origami butterflies with used paper. National Day dinner for residents of Pasir Ris-Punggol was held at Punggol Central on 8 Aug 2015. To make this a unique experience, everyone present were encouraged to put on the SG50 temporary tattoo stickers.
