Pezzo Pizza, together with 70 children from Club Rainbow created a 1.95m-diameter dessert pizza at NUS Sheares Hall on 3 Jun 2016. It was topped with chocolate spread, caramelised bananas, marshmallows and heart-shaped sprinkles. ActiveSG Basketball Academy was launched on 29 May 2016 at the Padang, Connaught Drive, to develop children and youths for the sport. Commencing in Sep, the academy will conduct basketball lessons at Choa Chu Kang, Clementi, Delta, Hougang, and Pasir Ris Sports Centres. The focus of Citi Singapore’s Family Day & Global Community Day this year was to build awareness for disability sports and support the Singapore National Paralympic Council. Staff and their families gathered at Singapore Expo on 28 May 2016 and took part in sports activities suited to the disabled.
