Largest Wall Display Made Of Bottle Caps

Northoaks Primary School’s mission statement is: Honesty, Empathy, Appreciation, Respect, Responsibility and Tenacity (HEAR2T). As part of the school’s conservation efforts and its 10th anniversary, the students collected 26,000 bottle caps which were then glued to the walls and ceiling in the HEAR2T theme. The covered area measured 34.5 sqm and was awarded a record on 15 Nov 2023.

Singapore Indian Development Association‘s (SINDA) annual month-long Project Give was held at the Indian Heritage Centre, Campbell Road. On display was a metallic heart measuring 1.6m by 1.4m. By the end of the campaign on 10 Nov 2023, visitors wrote wishes on 350 pieces of magnets and stuck them on the board.

Bukit Batok Zone 11 Residents’ Network celebrated Deepavali on 4 Nov at Bukit Batok Street 22. Residents used air-dry clay to make diyas (Indian lamps) following their own imagination. 290 of these were filled with tealights and an interesting pattern was formed on the floor measuring 3.5 by 4.1m.

Diabetes Singapore organised a 2-day roadshow at Anjung@WGS in Geylang Serai to promote knowledge about the disease in conjunction with World Diabetes Day. On 5 Nov 2023, volunteers painted on a canvas measuring 3m by 29.9m with the theme ‘Roots of Wellness’. A series of workshops was also conducted on insulin injection with a record number of 748 participants.
