Woodgrove constituency celebrated Racial Harmony and Community Sports Day at Woodlands Mega Sports Park on 23 Jul 2017. The event saw an art installation of 10,000 multi-coloured origami orchids hung from a metal scaffolding. The different colours were to represent the multi-racial society in Singapore. On 22 Jul 2017, Keat Hong CC WEC held its 14th and largest sandwich-making competition. With 2 people per team, 193 students – from 50 primary and secondary schools – had an hour to whip up 2 sandwich creations at the new Keat Hong CC hall.
