Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital held Mid-Autumn festivities on its compound on 19 Sep 2026, lighting up 32 huge Kongming lanterns. The helium-filled lanterns were sponsored and the donors were invited to cut the ribbons that lifted them from about 3m from the ground to about 6m. Hospitalised patients and their families, staff, volunteers and the public spent a heartwarming evening together.
