Largest Mural Made Of Recycled Paper Straws
Students from Grades 1 to10 at GIIS East Coast collaborated to create a mural measuring 2.9m by 4m. It was constructed from 5,000 recycled newspaper straws, each one hand-rolled by students. Devika Yogest Aphale, 22, spent 4 months doing a 1.56m-by-1.03m Madhubani painting, an Indian folk art going back 2,500 years.
