Tiong Bahru CC and URBANSketch+ organised a pavement drawing event at Eng Hoon Street, using chalk to depict scenes from Tiong Bahru’s past and the iconic present. Residents of Kolam Ayer were encouraged to keep and upcycle the hongbaos they received during Chinese New Year. They were taught on online videos as well as in workshops conducted in the CC to turn them into origami hearts. Tampines East IAEC organised the Puthandu (Tamil New Year) celebration at its CC on 12 Apr 2025. A highlight of the event was for residents to roll and stick traditional kachang puteh cones to form a 1.6m square SG60 collage.
