A 2km Buddy Race was organised by the Action for Singapore Dogs Society on 30 Nov 2014 at East Coast Park. 417 dogs, leashed to their owners took part in the run. Largest Archway Made Of Plastic Bag Flowers
As part of the nationwide scheme to make flowers from recycled plastic bags, Ulu Pandan residents completed 15,000 of these ‘SG50 Flowers’. The flowers were used to make a 3.3m by 4.2m archway to welcome participants at the ‘Grandparents’ Day’ event at Ulu Pandan CC on 22 Nov 2014. Sembcorp Industries’ Family Day was held at Gardens by the Bay on 15 Nov 2014. Those present were given goodie bags which included snacks and bottles of water. The empty bottles were then returned and glued on a wooden frame.
