On 7 Aug 2015, several line dance groups gathered at the Sentosa Merlion Plaza to break their previous year’s record. A total of 410 people managed to dance for 3 hours with only a 5 min break in between the hours. Global Indian International School (East Coast) celebrated National Day on 6 Aug 2015. On that day, it unveiled a colourful SG50 logo incorporated with the school logo. The logo was painstakingly pasted with small, round decorative mirrors by students and teachers over a few months for the record. The logo measured 2m by 2m.
