Largest Singapore Map Made Of Origami Bricks

Students and staff of Catholic Junior College folded origami bricks with recycled paper. On the white bricks, they wrote words of hope for our nation to mark the 53rd National Day. The  2,240 bricks were assembled to form the map of Singapore,  on 8 Aug 2018, measuring  3.94m by 2.72m.

Largest National Flag Made Of Eggs

Radin Mas CC had its National Day Observance Ceremony at its newly constructed building at Telok Blangah Crescent on 9 Aug 2018. Probably to symbolise its new beginnings, the grassroot leaders used eggs to create the 6m-by-9.1m Singapore flag. The 20,396 eggs were covered in red and white plastic casings.

West Coast Constituency’s National Day Dinner was held on 5 Aug 2018 at Nan Hua Primary School. Towards the end of the programme, everyone lit up 2 lightsticks for a mass dance. 1,850 people were counted to be dancing enthusiastically.

Youths from Jalan Besar and Ang Mo Kio GRCs assembled 11,817 pieces of red and white erasers to form the Singapore flag measuring 3.6m by 2.4m.  The exhibit opened on 6 Aug 2018 at One Raffles Place.
