Snow City Singapore introduced a new concept into ice shows by freezing ice blocks from water infused with food dye. The multi-coloured ice blocks were then carved to a new level of display. Largest Display Of Crocheted Bags
Volunteers from the Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee and Active Aging Committee of Tampines East CC crocheted 830 standard bags which were displayed on 29 Jan 2024 for counting. The bags were meant to be given to guests at the CC’s Lunar New Year dinner in the following month. Read More »
Longest Distance Completed By A Group On Standup Paddleboarding
A total of 103 participated and 84 completed The Route 97 one-day ultra paddling down the Kwai River, Kanchanaburi, Thailand on 29 Jul 2023. Eleven from Singapore were part of the race and our local hero Ng Daojia came in first, completing the 97km route in 8 hr 44 min. Read More »
Largest Collage Made Of Fruits
Marymount CC IAEC organised Mangala Pongal on 28 Jan 2024 at the CC. Spreading 7.3m by 7.3m across the hall was a symmetrical collage made of oranges, apples, pears, starfruits, pineapples, mangosteens, bananas and grapes.
