Largest Dyed Snow Playground

Snow City Singapore introduced a new concept into ice shows by freezing ice blocks from water infused with food dye. The multi-coloured ice blocks were then carved to a new level of display. Some of the new exhibits were a bar counter, a train, a dragon, penquins and mini golf courses. The 16.1m-by-6.9m display was launched on 8 Feb 2024.

Volunteers from the Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee and Active Aging Committee of Tampines East CC crocheted 830 standard bags which were displayed on 29 Jan 2024 for counting. The bags were meant to be given to guests at the CC’s Lunar New Year dinner in the following month.

Spreading 7.3m by 7.3m across the hall was a symmetrical collage made of oranges, apples, pears, starfruits, pineapples, mangosteens, bananas and grapes.
