Largest Play-Doh Cupcake Tower

From 6-12 Jun 2016, children at Waterway Point got to make Play-Doh cupcakes with materials and equipment provided by Hasbro, the brand’s owner. The 2,088 cupcakes were than arranged into a tower on the final day, 1.8m wide and 2.9m high, to celebrate Play-Doh’s 60th aniversary and the worldwide sale of 3 billion cans of the dough in that timeframe.

World’s First Climbing Race On A Building Facade

21 professional climbers scaled the glass facade of the 55-floor Marina Bay Sands on 23 Jun 2010. Largest Balloon Maze

Volunteers from People’s Association’s Balloon Sculpting Interest Group constructed a maze made of balloons which measured 25.8m by 15.2m at Marina Square. Displayed on 18 to 19 Jun 2016, the maze was designed to look like a museum with all its exhibits made of only balloons. Visitors had fun finding their way in the maze and sculpting some balloons themselves. More photos

Largest Parent-and-Child Kayaking Race

SAFRA Punggol organised the Waterway Challenge for its members on 11 Jun 2016 which involved family teams completing a kayak-cycle-run route. In the kayaking race, 120 pairs of parent-and-child rowed between 1.25-1.7 km along Punggol Waterway, depending on the child’s age group. SAF’s 6th Division celebrated its 40th anniversary on 11 Jun 2016 at the Mandai Hill Camp. Parkway Parade brought in Rocky Byun, the balancing extraordinaire, from South Korea to perform from 10-19 Jun 2016 at the mall. On 9 Jun, he picked a member of the public, Nani Salam, seated and balanced her on one of the chair’s legs for 11.8 sec. Byun has been practising his art for the last 10 years.
