Largest Lego National Flag

Yuhua constituency residents and schools presented the Singapore flag made of Lego bricks as a gift to the nation. It represented how our forefathers had built the nation brick by brick. The 1.8m x 3.1m  flag was unveiled at the Singapore Science Centre on 9 Aug 2015 and would remain there for some time.

Largest Display Of Origami Balls

Students of North View Primary School had fun folding and blowing into the origami balls. About 7,000 of these balls were later arranged to form a colour graphic of the school logo and motto. The display, measuring 6m by 8m, was unveiled on 6 Aug 2015 prior to the school’s National Day celebration.

Clementi Town Secondary School organised its annual cross-country run at Japanese Garden on 5 Aug 2015. 1,085 participants ran 200m barefoot before completing the 3.3-km route with their shoes on. Most Number Of Origami Butterflies Folded In 30 Min

For its SG50 National Day celebration, Global Indian International School wanted to set up the Jubilee logo with origami butterflies. Students of classes 1-6 gathered in the school auditorium on 4 Aug 2015 and in 30 minutes, they folded 7,772 origami butterflies with used paper. After the record was set, the origamis were mounted on to the logo.
