Tampines Junior College merged with Meridian Junior College and they are now known as Tampines Meridian Junior College. As part of the school’s first birthday celebration, students folded 15,426 paper strips into stars and arranged them to form the school’s new logo. Largest Display Of Origami Horses

The 21st Singapore Artillery, with its Iron Horse icon, celebrated its 49th anniversary with 300 personnel folding and pasting origami horses to form the batallion’s name and crest on a banner. They also competed to make horse sculptures from old newspapers. 4,900 origamis were completed on a 6.0m x 1.45m PVC banner on 5 Jul 2019 at Kranji Camp II.
