Adam Bin Kamis lasted 92 hours 49 mins without sleep from 9-13 Nov 2011 in the movie-watching challenge, organised by Nescafe Frappe at Nex Shopping Mall. He won the top cash prize of $10,000. Largest Gathering Of People In Purple Hats
The fourth annual Purple Parade was held at Suntec City on 5 Nov 2016. It was a day to celebrate the abilities of people with special needs and to promote a more inclusive society. 5,000 cardboard purple hats were given out to all who turned up. 223 people, mostly students, came down to the educational farm at Lorong Chencharu, run by Ground-Up Initiative on 3 Nov 2016. They expressed their love and care for the environment, by writing on sandwich boards what they would do for the environment.
