About 8 volunteers from the Kampong Tiong Bahru West RC spent about a month cutting and sewing 7,632 pieces of triangular cloth to make a Singapore flag. At National Kidney Foundation Sit-A-Thon event held on 28 Jul 2013 at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, 1,350 participants played shakers accompanied by drums and percussion played by Temasek Polytechnic students.
