Largest Amount Of Clothes Collected and Washed At One Location
Electrolux launched Washing-thon in April 2013 by calling schools, corporate offices and Toa Payoh CCC to donate any unwanted clothes to them. 3,889 kg of clothes were gathered and laundered using Electrolux machines located at Toa Payoh Courts’ car park from 13 to 15 Jun 2013. Using Chinese brush painting techniques, Qi Hong painted a galloping horse on the open courtyard of Bras Basah Complex on 13 Jun 2013. It measured 14.2m by 7.3m. Members and volunteers from Man Fut Tong Welfare Society and Paya Lebar Kovan CC worked tirelessly over 3 days at Kovan Hub in Singapore’s biggest dumpling-making charity project.
