Largest Parent-and-Child Kayaking Race
SAFRA Punggol organised the Waterway Challenge for its members on 11 Jun 2016 which involved family teams completing a kayak-cycle-run route. In the kayaking race, 120 pairs of parent-and-child rowed between 1.25-1.7 km along Punggol Waterway, depending on the child’s age group. SAF’s 6th Division celebrated its 40th anniversary on 11 Jun 2016 at the Mandai Hill Camp. To mark the occasion with a milestone challenge, the 1,300 servicemen attempted the largest mass chin-up in Singapore. Parkway Parade brought in Rocky Byun, the balancing extraordinaire, from South Korea to perform from 10-19 Jun 2016 at the mall.
