500 people dined at the longest table that broke the world record. Race Course Road was closed on 23 Jul 2011 to accommodate the 0.9m by 160.0m table, constructed as a single continuous piece by staff of Seagull Marine and Yusen Design & Contract. When news came that the Pasir Panjang Power Station Quarters would be demolished soon, the ex-neighbours who had already moved out of the place more than 30 years ago, decided to hold a reunion at the premises.
