Largest Display Of Handpainted Ping Pong Balls

Fiesta Bahasa is organised annually by the Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee of the Ministry of Education. Held at the National Library events plaza on 12 Aug 2017, 630 people at the fiesta performed a mass dikir barat. This is a traditional Malay choral singing with participants doing synchronised hand and body movements while seated on the floor.

Longest Banner Of Historical Drawings

To celebrate Singapore’s 52th year of independence, Marsiling constituency unveiled a 52m by 1.2m banner on 9 Aug 2017 at the sports park beside the CC. The banner illustrates the development of Singapore from independence in 1965 till today. Led by Kenny Chua, the artwork took three months and more than 100 volunteers to complete.
