As part of the National Day Celebration and engagement with residents in the vicinity, Kim Seng CC YEC displayed the Singapore flag made of sushi. 306 pieces of the sushi, made with red crabmeat and white rice, formed the 1.08m-by-0.55m flag. Marsiling National Day observance ceremony was held on 9 Aug 2018 at Marsiling Community Sports Park. Many fun-filled activities were organised for the residents. 200 people painted on CDs which were later incorporated into the huge National Day celebration poster. Read More »
Most Number Of People Making Bento Sets Together
At Kids’ World Fair on 12 Aug 2018 at Suntec City, there was a splendid response to the parent-child bento-making. Clouet Trading (makers of Ayam Brand) sponsored the ingredients and 186 participants had a delightful time making creative sandwiches and other things with instructors from Genius R Us. Largest Mass ‘Reach Out For The Skies’ Dance
‘Reach Out for the Skies’ was the 2005 NDP theme song. Teachers of Northoaks Primary School adapted the song’s choreography and practised it with the students.
