Woodgrove CC organised its first Halloween event at the Woodgrove Avenue open field on 31 Oct 2018. Hundreds turned up with scary faces and unusual costumes. Below the stage was the word ‘Woodgrove’ constructed out of discarded drink bottles and fitted with LED lights. The word display measured 8.2m by 0.7m.

Largest Logo Made Of Paper Fortune Cookies

Founded in 1928, Serangoon Secondary School has reached its 90th anniversary. On 24 Oct 2018, students took 1928 secs to fold about 12,000 round papers into the shape of fortune cookies. Each ‘cookie’ contained a strip of paper written with well-wishes. The paper cookies were arranged to form the school’s anniversary logo which measured 14m by 6.3m.

Largest Collage Made Of Clothes Pegs

Fajar Secondary School held its Publicity Day on 19 Oct 2018 where primary 6 students from neighbouring schools were invited to know the school better. The students clipped colourful clothes pegs onto mesh display panels to complete a beautiful collage which measured 4.8m by 1.6 m. The collage was made up of 10,240 clothes pegs.
