Tampines West CSC organised a two-day Taekwondo competition on 9 and 10 Nov 2019. The event at Tampines Hub auditorium saw 1,113 participants from different age groups vying for medals in the various categories including Poomsae and Kyorugi.

Soon after participants at Tampines West CC completed the mass Ritmix dance, renowned Eddie Pan of Taiwan took to the stage with his five co-instructors. Altogether 284 people did the Funky Dance made famous by him at the event organised by Tampines West CSC and Touch Aero, a sports attire brand, on 2 Nov 2019.

Tampines West CSC and Touch Aero, a Taiwanese fitness wear company, organised a Ritmix dance at the CC on 2 Nov 2019. Led by Master Trainer Rika Yamano of Japan, 281 participants danced for more than one hour together with 9 Taiwanese instructors who took turns to co-lead.

About 200 years ago, Singapore became an important entrepot largely because of the demand for spices from western countries. Many of the early Indian Muslims were spice traders. Most Number Of Vehicles Doing Simultaneous Tyre Change

1st SAF Transport Battalion celebrated its 41st anniversary on 11 Oct 2019 at Sembawang Camp. One of the activities organised that day was a tyre changing exercise. 41 vehicles comprising Ford Everest, Ford Focus, Land Rover 110 and Mercedes Benz 240 GD Scout jeeps had their tyres dismantled and replaced by 92 personnel at the same time.

35 SCE commemorated its Golden Jubilee by setting a record on 18 Oct 2019 at Seletar Camp, Piccadily Road. As a break from their training routine, the unit personnel folded coloured papers into origami pyramids. They then arranged 3,990 of the pyramids on a banner which measured 5m by 2m.

Largest Display Of Hanging Ghostly Dolls

The grassroot organisations of Geylang Serai organised a Halloween party at the Lorong 40 playground on 25 Oct 2019. As expected, many turned up in scary costumes. The area was decorated with 502 fabric dolls, most of them legless and wearing conical hats. The dolls were later given away to all attendees.
