Largest Mass Walk Wearing Superhero Masks
Stepping Out For Stroke was a walkathon and fundraising event organised by the Singapore National Stroke Association. It was supported by the Angels Initiative, a charity arm of Boehringer Ingelheim. The walkathon saw 192 people wearing superhero masks. Caregivers of stroke patients were honoured as superheroes. The event held at Bayfront Event Square on 29 Oct 2022 commemorated World Stroke Day. In celebration of the Baogong culture and heritage, Tien Sen Tua Temple invited mediums (tangki) to come together to undertake 3 ceremonial tests in trance. 101 mediums participated in the temple on 23 Oct 2022. Nanyang Polytechnic held its 30th anniversary gala dinner at Suntec Convention Hall on 14 Oct 2022. Before the dinner proper, 890 staff and guests scanned the QR code on the cards placed before them. Tien Sen Tua Temple organised the Bao Gong International Cultural Festival to celebrate the diety’s 1023rd birthday. Statues of Song Dynasty’s Justice Bao from other temples and other countries started streaming into Tien Sen Tua and by 14 Oct 2022, 108 statues were counted. Read More »
