Onboard the Genting Dream cruise on 19 Jun 2023, Kenneth Tan achieved 2 more memory records to add to his accolades: most 5-digit sets of pi completed in 5 mins; and longest binary number sequence memorised in one min. The first record was based on the first 1,000 digits of pi where sets of 5 digits were given and he had to write down the subsequent 5 digits. He completed 63 correct sets within 5 min. In the second record, a series of random binary digits was generated from a website for him to memorise for one min. He got 276 digits correct. This is higher than the current Guinness record.
