The greatest number of dominoes set up single-handedly and toppled was 303,621 out of 303,628 by Ma Li Hua, a Chinese national. The feat was achieved at the Singapore Expo Hall, on 18 Aug 2003. Ma bettered the previous world record by 15,000 pieces. The event was organised by LG Electronics Inc.

‘Iron Throat’ Loo Kok Seng broke his own record with 34 inch-thick wooden poles broken after they were swung onto his neck by his accomplice. Largest Display Of Lanterns Made From Recycled Magazines

Kembangan-Chai Chee FLC and Greenville RC held a joint mid-autumn celebration on 11 Sep 2016 at Ubi Ave 1. Facing the main road to welcome the residents in the neighbourhood was a colourful display of 560 lanterns made by volunteers. The lanterns were made from pages torn off magazines with LED lights shining brightly inside.
