Largest Singapore Map Made Of Mooncakes
On 27 Sep 2015, Frasers Centrepoint Malls celebrated Mid-Autumn festival with many fun-filled activities for shoppers at Causeway Point. As a fund-raising effort, mooncakes were sold at $2 each and proceeds went to North West CDC Food Aid Fund. For each donation, a mooncake was placed on the ‘shelves’ of the stage backdrop. Temasek Secondary School celebrated National Day by putting up an SG50 logo using more than 1,800 pieces of red and white coasters. Namadwaar is a Hindu society which promotes world peace and harmony. On 6 Sep 2015, its members gathered at Toa Payoh South Community Centre and created a large warli art collage measuring 9.7m by 6.7m.
