Largest Gathering Of People Wearing Fingerlights
At the New Year’s Eve celebration near to Hougang Interchange on 31 Dec 2015, everyone who came was given battery-operated LED lights to be strapped on the fingers. 408 people stood together to form the number ‘2016’. On 12 Dec 2015, the SMU Caretalyst group organised fun and inspiring activities for 40 children from REACH Community Services Society and Thye Hua Kuan Moral Society at Gardens by the Bay. Two golfing brothers aced the same hole during a round at the Sembawang Country Club, defying odds of 17 million to one. Chiang Hock Woo, 48, and Chiang Hock Tew, 46, got their first-ever holes-in-one within minutes of each other at the 135m (147-yard), par-3 second hole on 31 Jan 2006.
