On 25 Aug 2015, 1,537 ITE College Central NITEC and higher NITEC students from four schools – Business and Services, Engineering, Electronics and IT, Design and Media – each painted on an 8-inch by 8-inch canvas together. The mass art jam session to commemorate SG50 was supported by REACH Singapore. Held at the school, the event was also attended by seniors from the Ang Mo Kio Thye Hua Kwan Seniors Activity Centre.
