To celebrate its 29th anniversary, Bukit Batok Secondary School organised a Sports and Fund Raising Carnival on 31 Jul 2015. 518 participants comprising students, teachers, parent volunteers and alumni took turns to skate on eight scooters around the school compound. Largest Display Of Coasters
10,032 coasters were neatly displayed at Gardens by the Bay on 25 Jul 2015. The 41m by 2m display was put up by University-YMCA Singapore, a club run by YMCA of Singapore whose members are SMU, NUS and NTU undergrads. First Woman To Win Gold In Asian Games
Chee Swee Lee, 19, became the first Singaporean woman to win an Asian Games gold when she won the 400m race at the 1974 Teheran Games. She clocked 55.08 sec, smashing the 400m record by more than a second. Read More »

UK Shyam holds the 100m sprint record with a time of 10.37 sec. At the World University Games in Beijing in 2001, he broke the 33-year-old record of 10.38 sec set by Canagasabai Kunalan. He equalled his own national record the same year at the SEA Games in Kuala Lumpur. Read More »
Highest Taekwondo Grades Achieved
