Youths from Serangoon CC YEC, Paya Lebar Kovan CC YEC, Dimension International, Tampines Junior College and Serangoon Garden Secondary School spent many weeks baking cookies of similar shape and size in the spirit of celebrating the coming National Day. On 4 Aug 2012, more than 22,000 cookies glazed in red and white formed the National flag which measured 7.8m by 4.9m. The cookies were later distributed to residents living nearby.
