11-year-old Siddharth Arya Ravulaparthi broke Singapore’s most challenged personal record – the pi digits. He recited 2,856 digits in his home on 1 Nov 2022. The United World College student started memorising some pi digits when he was 9. And in the last one-and-half years he started working to break the national record. Students of Ang Mo Kio Secondary School brought packaged foodstuffs from their homes for donation to Food Bank Singapore. On the principal’s last day prior to his new posting on 28 Oct 2022, the school surprised him by forming the words ‘Thank You Mr Shaw!’ with biscuit packages from the food collection. Coldest Dance Party Venue

Largest Mass Walk Wearing Superhero Masks
Stepping Out For Stroke was a walkathon and fundraising event organised by the Singapore National Stroke Association. It was supported by the Angels Initiative, a charity arm of Boehringer Ingelheim. The walkathon saw 192 people wearing superhero masks. Caregivers of stroke patients were honoured as superheroes. The event held at Bayfront Event Square on 29 Oct 2022 commemorated World Stroke Day.
