To mark its 59th anniversary, the 2nd People’s Defence Force had its staff to run multiple laps of 50m with 15-kg sandbags. The ladies could opt to use the 10-kg sandbags. ActiveSG celebrated its 10th anniversary with 10-hr dance workouts at its 5 ActiveSG Sport Centres. From 8am to 6pm on 27 Apr 2024, the public participated in each or multiple sessions of the hour-long workouts which included street dance, hip-hop, zumba and piloxing. Largest Singapore Map Made Of Shoes
Hewlett Packard demonstrated its prototype SitePrint at a staff event on 25 Apr 2024. The autonomous printer reads 2D blueprints and prints them directly onto the floor of a construction site. At the event it printed the outline of the Singapore map. Thereafter, the staff placed the used shoes they had collected for recycling, to fill up the 10m-by-5.6m map. Read More »
Largest Gathering Of People With Eczema
The Eczema Support Group and QV Skincare Singapore jointly organised a seminar for people affected by eczema whom they termed as eczema warriors. 300 of these warriors attended the gathering with talks by a dermalogist, a TCM physician and a pharmacist.
