Largest Display Of Indian Art Made Of Hongbao

Most people have extra hongbao envelopes lying around the house. Vijaya Mohan contacted senior citizen centres, schools and Rotary Clubs to collect these envelopes and have them rolled up into paper coils. Over 10,000 of these were then pasted on boards to form traditional Indian designs. On 2 Nov 2024, 125 of these boards were displayed at Tekka Place.

Singapore National Stroke Association organised the Stepping Out for Stroke Walkathon on 19 Oct 2024 at Marina Barrage, with stroke survivors, caregivers and supporters walking together. In line with the theme, walkers were welcomed to compete in the ‘Biggest Step’ challenge. It was won by dancer Nicole Faith Yang who could stretch 150 cm in a single step.
