Largest National Flag Made Of Chocolate Lentils

Visitors to Plaza Singapura from 28 Jul to 3 Aug 2014 participated in putting together 17,441 pieces of red and white M&Ms to make the Singapore flag. Temasek Secondary School students folded 9,921 used A4 papers into little shirts and wrote their love and well wishes for Singapore’s 49th birthday on them. The origami shirts, looking like their uniforms, were assembled together to form a huge rectangle, measuring 9.1m by 11.1m with the words ‘I <heart> SG’ on 8 Aug 2014.

Changi Simei CC YEC members came up with an interesting idea to mark 9 Aug 2014. They used about 2,300 red and white angkukuehs to form a Singapore flag measuring 2.7m by 3.3m.
