Sembawang residents gathered at Block 786B Woodlands Drive 60 for the 49th National Day Observance Celebration on the morning of 3 Aug 2014. 349 participants took a short walk around the neighbourhood with the National flags tied in a continuous chain. Other than the big ones, some were even enthusiastically carrying smaller flags and sounding clappers and whistles. The precious sight got many sleeping heads in the windows above to rush for their cameras.
