Largest Magnet Mural

Staff and families of Singapore Power placed small pieces of magnets to create the largest magnet mural record at their Family Day on 17 Oct 2015 at Gardens By The Bay. Made of 3,600 flexible ferromagnetic plastic of 5 cm by 4 cm each, the entire picture with the Singapore Power logo stretched 2.4m by 3m.

Largest Mass Walk In Clogs

Bright Vision Hospital organised a fund-raising walk at Punggol Park on 17 Oct 2015. 339 participants put on Japanese clogs and walked more than 1km in support of the hospital’s needy patients. Prior to the event, students from several schools took part in clog painting contest and also helped in collecting donations.

Most No Of Laps Swum On Consecutive Days

 Safra’s Swim for Hope charity drive used to be an annual one-day event but this year it stretched from 9-11 Oct 2015 and involved the 5 Safra clubhouses. About 1,700 swimmers took part and clocking the longest distance was Vincent Koh Chaik Chuan who swam 1,317 laps or the equivalent of 66km for all 3 days. On each day he swam for about 10 hours. Largest 21-Legged Race

2 Oct 2015 was graduation day for the secondary four cohort of Tanjong Katong Secondary School. That morning, the students gathered at the indoor sports hall and took part in a 21-legged race with adjacent ankles tied together with a piece of cloth and ran a distance of 20m. 280 students completed the race.

Volunteers from 6 schools and 7 art interest groups helped to paint a 9.5m by 12m naive art painting, organised by Zhenghua PassionArts. Naive art is characterised by a childlike simplicity, non-scientific perspective, and bold colours.
