Bukit Batok East held its National Day Observance Ceremony followed by a street carnival on 3 Aug 2019. At the event, there was a display of a 600-m balloon chain that spanned across Bukit Batok East Ave 5 in a zig-zag manner. To facilitate event, the road was closed for the day.
