Eurasian Association celebrated its 100th anniversary at Our Tampines Hub on 27 Jul 2019. More than a thousand people were at the event to witness the Prime Minister and key association leaders cut the 40-kg square sugee cake measuring 0.9m on each side. The sugee cake, made of semolina flour, is a Eurasian classic that is integral to their celebrations. It was made by Quentin’s the Eurasian Restaurant, operating at the association premises in Ceylon Road.
