The Katong-Joo Chiat area is well known for its food heritage and it befits the community associated with the culture to spell it out using popiah, a symbol of unity in diversity. The words ‘Katong-Joo Chiat Heritage’, measuring 14.1m by 0.76m, was arranged using a variety of popiah donated by the F&B outlets there as well as the residents. This was organised by the Joo Chiat CCMC on 14 Dec 2024 at Haig Girls’ School.
