To kick off the SG60 year, on 4 Jan 2025, Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng constituency presented 1,000 underprivileged households in the area with gift boxes. Packed in red and white plastic cases, they contained lifestyle items sponsored by corporate donors. Before handing them out, the boxes were arranged as a map of Singapore with an embedded ‘SG60’. The event was held at Kreta Ayer Square.
